Haechan Kang's Solo Exhibition : A Quiet Symphony of Sensation

2025년 7월 3일부터 8월 23일까지 유나갤러리 서울에서는 여름밤과 겨울 저녁의 대기와 시간을 회화적으로 탐색하는 강해찬 작가의 개인전 이 개최됩니다. 이번 전시는 작가가 2022년부터 2025년까지 작업한 31점의 작품을 포함하여 처음으로 공개되는 초기 드로잉과 습작들을 선보입니다.

From July 3 to August 23, 2025, UNAW GALLERY Seoul hosts , a solo exhibition by artist Haechan Kang. This exhibition explores the atmospheric shifts of summer nights and winter evenings through 31 works created between 2022 and 2025, along with early drawings and works-in-progress unveiled for the first time.

강해찬은 시각적 재현을 넘어 공기의 농도, 빛의 흐름, 그리고 시간의 부드러운 전환을 포착하는 '감각의 회화'로 주목받아 왔습니다. 이번 전시는 그의 시적인 감각과 회화 언어가 완성돼가는 지난 3년간의 궤적을 조망하며, 특히 초기 드로잉들은 그의 회화적 사고 과정을 엿볼 수 있는 귀중한 단서가 됩니다.

Known for his sensory paintings, which capture the density of air, the flow of light, and the gentle transitions of time beyond visual representation, Kang Haechan offers a retrospective glimpse into the artist’s evolving poetic sensibility over the past three years. The debut of his early drawings serves as precious insight into his formative artistic process.

작가의 사용한 인터피어런스 물감은 보는 각도에 따라 색채와 광택을 변화시키며, 이는 회화가 고정된 이미지가 아닌 감각의 전이로 구성된 풍경임을 환기합니다. 이렇게 다층적인 지각 경험을 통해, 강해찬의 회화는 기존의 낭만적 풍경 회화와는 궤를 달리하며 감각과 기억, 그리고 감정의 교차 지점에서 새로운 회화적 여정을 제안합니다.
