UNAW Gallery in Seoul is pleased to present Flowing Moonlight, a solo exhibition by Haechan Kang from July 3 to August 23. This exhibition showcases key works and new pieces that explore atmospheric shifts and the flow of light and time over the past three years.
Flowing Moonlight captures Kang's core artistic concepts—fluid passage of light, softness of transitions, and beauty found in liminal spaces. Moving beyond traditional landscape painting, Kang constructs sensory topographies that capture not places, but the texture of moments—the humidity in the air, the density of twilight. These works invite viewers to pause and revisit the overlooked thresholds of everyday life.
Kang uses interference pigments to create surfaces that change in color and sheen depending on the viewer's angle.
