Flowing Moonlight: Exploring the Subtleties of Sensory Topographies
From July 3rd to August 23rd, 2025, UNAW GALLERY proudly presents Flowing Moonlight, a solo exhibition by Haechan Kang, showcasing an array of poignant paintings crafted between 2022 and 2025. This exhibition not only unveils new works created specifically for this show, but also debuts early drawings and studies, offering a rare glimpse into Kang's introspective process prior to his iconic paintings.
Kang's artistry resides at the intersection of intangible elements like light, air, and water, weaving them into a perceptual tapestry that defies straightforward representation. His paintings are not confined by the visible but instead transcend it, inviting viewers into a world where the texture of moments—like the summer night's humid air or the reflective glow of winter evenings—becomes palpably felt.

The Metaphoric Fluidity of Light and Memory
