An Unmissable Journey Through Sensory Landscapes at UNAW Gallery

7월 3일부터 8월 23일까지 유나 갤러리가 개최하는 강해찬 작가의 개인전 는 사물의 겉모습을 넘어선 감각적 여정입니다. 이번 전시는 2022년부터 2025년까지 작가가 몰두해온 31점의 작품과 신작들을 선보이며, 우리를 무심코 지나쳤던 순간들과 장소들, 그 사이의 감각의 밀도를 탐구합니다.

From July 3 to August 23, UNAW Gallery proudly presents Haechan Kang's solo exhibition, Flowing Moonlight. This exhibition gathers 31 significant works that Haechan Kang has developed from 2022 to 2025, along with new creations. It takes viewers on a sensory journey beyond surface appearances, exploring the density of moments and places we often overlook.

강해찬의 회화는 전통적 풍경화의 틀을 벗어나, 빛, 공기, 그리고 시간이 교차하는 감각의 풍경을 그려내고자 합니다. 그의 작품은 단순한 장소가 아닌 순간의 농도와 텍스처를 재현합니다. 화면 위에 얇게 쌓아 올린 색채층은 공기 중의 습기, 해질녘의 농도, 멀리 스치는 창문의 반짝임 등을 담아내며, 우리가 쉽게 지나치는 미세한 감각을 끌어올립니다.

Kang's paintings deviate from conventional landscape compositions. They aspire to capture landscapes of sensation where light, air, and time intersect. His layered application of paints embodies the texture of fleeting moments—the humidity in the air, the density of dusk, and the glimmer of distant windows—elevating the subtle sensations we so often overlook.
