유나갤러리에서 펼쳐지는 강해찬의 시적 회화의 세계: 《Flowing Moonlight》

2025년 7월 3일부터 8월 23일까지 서울의 유나 갤러리는 강해찬 작가의 개인전 《Flowing Moonlight》을 개최합니다. 이번 전시는 작가가 지난 3년간 발전시켜 온 시적이면서도 감각적인 회화 언어를 조망할 기회입니다. 공기, 빛 그리고 물에 대한 작가의 탐구는 회화라는 매체에서 감각적 사유의 풍부함으로 펼쳐집니다.
From July 3rd to August 23rd, 2025, UNAW GALLERY in Seoul will host Flowing Moonlight, a solo exhibition by artist Haechan Kang. This exhibition features Kang's poetic and sensory journey with painting over the past three years, exploring the atmospheric dialogue between air, light, and water within the medium of painting.
강해찬의 작품은 대기의 미세한 흔적을 잡아내어, 여름밤이나 겨울 저녁과 같은 흔들리는 순간들을 포착합니다. 이런 미묘한 요소들에 대한 그의 관심은 인터페이스 물감을 활용한 깊이와 움직임을 통해 화면 위에서 시각적으로 표현됩니다.
Kang captures the fine traces of the atmosphere, seizing tremulous moments such as summer nights or winter evenings. His interest in these subtle elements is visually realized on canvas through depth and movement achieved by using interference pigments.
작가의 작업 과정은 세심하게 얇은 레이어로 쌓아 올린 아크릴 층을 통해, 고정된 이미지가 아닌 시간과 감각의 기록을 반영합니다. 화면 위의 색과 빛의 지속적인 흐름은 회화가 단순한 형태가 아니라 소리를 내듯 울리는 입체적 구조임을 드러냅니다.
Kang’s artistic process reflects not a fixed image but a recording of time and sensation, meticulously built through thin layers of acrylic. The continual flow of color and light on the canvas reveals the painting as a resonant structure rather than a mere form.
특히 이번 전시에서는 미공개 드로잉과 초기 습작들이 함께 소개됩니다. 이러한 작품들은 작가의 내밀한 사고 과정을 엿볼 수 있는 기회로, 강해찬의 시각적 사고가 어떻게 진화했는지를 보여줍니다.
The exhibition also introduces previously unseen drawings and early studies, offering a glimpse into Kang’s intimate thought process and showing how his visual thinking has evolved.
