UNAW GALLERY proudly presents Flowing Moonlight, a solo exhibition by Haechan Kang, running from July 3 to August 23, 2025. This exhibition offers a unique visual experience that explores the intersection of sensation and time on canvas. Kang's work transcends traditional landscape painting, engaging with the intangible elements of light, air, and time in a painterly language.

Kang captures not a specific place, but the air, temperature, and light's density of a moment to create sensory landscapes. In Flowing Moonlight, the artist examines the tension between visibility and invisibility, capturing atmospheres from the humid air of summer nights to the cool traces of winter evenings. His approach provides perceptual tools to reveal the blind spots of recognition, situated at the boundary between reality and fantasy.

A technical hallmark of Kang's work is his use of interference pigments, which change color and luster depending on the viewing angle, visualizing the temporality and fluidity of the surface.
